Training Session on Communications Skills & Dealing with Difficult Personalities- University Student Internship Program

Under the AmCham-Jordan University Internship Program, atraining session entitled “Communications Skills & Dealing with Difficult Personalities,” was conducted by Ms. Rose Alissi, AmCham-Jordan CEO.

During the session, Ms. Alissi emphasized the importance of having effective communication skills in the workplace, and how it could lead to professional success. She also covered the components of effective communication, challenges encountered by the sender or receiver, types of verbal communication, and non-verbal such as; body language and, strategies for dealing with miscommunication. Furthermore, Ms. Alissi shed light on the different types of personalities students might deal with during their internship period and strategies on how to deal with them
professionally.

This program is implemented with the support of the U.S. Embassy in Amman- Public Affairs Section and in partnership with the University of Jordan and Yarmouk University.
