AmCham-Jordan organizes the Jordan Pavilion at PLMA Chicago 2022!

11 Jordanian companies attend PLMA’s 2022 Annual Private Label Trade Show in Chicago, US

 

11 leading Jordanian companies representing FMCG (food and non-food products) will be exhibiting at the PLMA Trade Show held in Chicago during November 13-15th, 2022 as part of the Jordan’s pavilion organized by the American Chamber of commerce in Jordan and supported by USAID Business Growth Activity and the Ministry of Investment.

The PLMA Trade Show is among the world’s largest trade events dedicated to private labelling and is expected to attract more than 5,000 key potential buyers and industry leaders to connect with exhibitors from the U.S. and all over the world. The trade show will convene in Chicago this year after 2-year hiatus caused by COVID-19 pandemic.

The exhibition is part of the ongoing efforts to diversify and grow trade with the United States and opening up new export opportunities and growth potentials for Jordanian manufacturers in different sectors.

The Jordan Pavilion presents food products such as Arabic sweets, Medjool dates, herbs and spices and canned foods by Adnan Khudari & Sons, AlDurra, Anabtawi Sweets, Chains Trading Company, Golden Bird, Nafeeseh Sweets, Palmera Dates. Next to consumer goods such as cleaning and detergents by Giant Industrial Group and Layan for Chemicals. In addition to disposables and food service products by Al Hadaf (RZ) and Jordan Tin Plate.

AmCham Jordan hosts the National TIJARA Coalition that consists of the 36 entities members – a platform for joint work and dialogue led by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply with the chambers, business associations and relevant governmental bodies. These national efforts will continue in 2023 where AmCham-Jordan will be organizing the Jordan Pavilion in three major shows in the U.S.

The USAID Business Growth Activity will enable Jordanian SMEs and start-ups to improve their productivity and competitiveness, create new jobs and innovation across a range of growth sectors, as well as advance Jordan towards a more prosperous, resilient, and inclusive future.
