Ms. Nourah Mehyar

Nourah Mehyar is the CEO of Nafith Logistics, an IFC investee, which employs over 400 multinationals, operating a unique Trade and Transport Facilitation network covering Jordan where they operate multiple national contracts covering 90% of Jordan’s truck freight and have also recently opened a factory to manufacture their patented container eSeals, and in Iraq where they operate a BOT contract in the Ports of Basra, with the goal of substantially improving transportation and logistics efficiency, and in Oman where they have recently started setting up a pioneering system across all of the logistics industrial hubs of the Sultanate. Nourah is also an active investor in several other SME’s in Jordan. In 2016, she became the first recipient of the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA) Gender CEO Award for her work in integrating women into a male-dominated workforce in an area where gender parity is close to non-existent. In 2017 she was selected to be part of a 13 member commission in the LSE-Oxford Commission on State Fragility, Growth and Development, headed by former PM David Cameron and Professor Paul Collier.
Nourah started her career in 2001 as Project Coordinator and Manager for several IT enabled projects in the MENA region. She worked on several fields of workflow systems, trade facilitation and, port operations. In 2006 she co-founded Nafith Logistics, in which she has been holding the position of CEO since 2008.
