Signing of MoU Between AmCham- Jordan and JFBPW
The American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham- Jordan) and The Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women agreed to build cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The MoU signing took place at AmCham-Jordan’s Office on Thursday September 21st 2023.
This MoU was signed by AmCham-Jordan Chairman of Board of Directors, Mr. Samer S. Judeh and AmCham-Jordan’s CEO, Ms. Raghad Alkhojah along with JFBPW’s President Dr. Reem Albaghdadi. The MoU acts as a form of mutual collaboration and partnership in the area of business growth and development, trade facilitation and promotion for both AmCham and JFBPW networks.
According to the agreement, the two parties will work together to maximize reach and exposure by leveraging both parties’ networks through communication and the circulation of opportunities across both. Furthermore, AmCham-Jordan and JFBPW will provide assistance in order to enable joint access to information, resources, and opportunities whenever possible and to the best of each party’s ability to participate.
JFBPW is a non-profit, non-governmental organization founded in 1976 to help Jordanian businesswomen and professionals and boost their contribution to Jordan’s economic development. The Forum is an inclusive organization that uses its extensive networks to assist women at all levels of business in Jordan in reaching their full potential. JFBPW is Jordan’s first of its kind, and it has formed strategic alliances with national civil society organizations, the private sector, national and municipal government, and foreign organizations.
A leading Jordanian Association the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham-Jordan) is a voluntary non-for-profit member-based organization established in 1999. With over 250 members from top Jordanian companies and U.S. companies operating in Jordan, AmCham-Jordan has been working for more than 20 years to contribute to Jordan’s sustainable economic development through the promotion of Jordan-U.S. trade & investment relations, policy & advocacy, human resources development and business community outreach.
