Signing a MoA with PhRma LAWG

AmCham-Jordan and the International Pharmaceutical Research Group operating in Jordan (PhRMA LAWG) signed a memorandum of Agreement to define ways of joint work between the two parties with the aim of implementing activities and support services to support the pharmaceutical industry and scientific research in Jordan.

The memorandum was signed by Mr. Samer S. Judeh, AmCham-Jordan’s Chairman, and Mr. Moath Al Zoghoul, PhRMA LAWG Chairman. Where Mr. Samer Judeh stressed the importance of this memorandum to define the foundations of cooperation to support the pharmaceutical sector in Jordan, especially in the field of research and development, referring to the role of AmCham-Jordan as an official representative and the strategic supporter of the work and activities of the group of pharmaceutical companies in Jordan.

On ther hand, Mr. Moaz Al-Zoghoul thanked the AmCham-Jordan for its efforts in supporting the pharmaceutical sector and its keenness to cooperate to support the pharmaceutical industries sector and scientific research in order to reduce the challenges and difficulties facing the sector, expressing his aspiration to work side by side to implement joint activities that serve the interests of the pharmaceutical sector and research in Jordan.

Under the agreement, the two parties will cooperate to leverage both parties’ networks through communication and circulation of opportunities across both to maximize reach and exposure.  Furthermore, AmCham-Jordan and PhRma LAWG will give the support as an effort to provide joint access to knowledge, resources and opportunities wherever applicable and to the best of each party’s capacity to contribute.
