Public-Private Donor Platform

AmCham-Jordan initiated establishing a Public-Private-Donor (PPD) Platform to help in developing a shared vision of aligned effective and sustained solutions that can be co-implemented by the government, the donor community, and the private sector, to mitigate socio-economic impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic through tailor made solutions while maintaining health safety and, security measures to protect the populous. 

The platform’s objective is to facilitate bringing together development partners and representatives of the private sector, where they can discuss first hand priorities and needs in the presence of the government represented by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC), to help in enhancing or directing aid initiatives in a manner that ensures that the Jordanian private sector can withstand the effects of COVID-19 in the coming few months to continue and sustain operations and protect job security.
