Mr. Firas Abu Wishah

Firas Abu-Wishah is Mechanical Engineer and a member of the Board of Directors at Petra Engineering Industries, a family-owned designer and manufacturer of commercial and industrial air-conditioning equipment located in Amman, Jordan. At present, Petra exports to over 45 countries worldwide. In the United States alone, Petra has a presence in over 25 states. Firas is also very active with the American Chamber of Commerce in Amman, participating in many high-level trade missions and business delegations to the United States.

Firas is one of the founding members and first President of the Entrepreneur’s Organization (EO) chapter in Jordan. He is also a member and former board member of the Middle East Leadership Academy (MELA 1). In 2016, Firas was appointed by his Majesty King Abdullah the Second to serve on Jordan’s Economic Policies Council representing the private sector. In 2018 Firas was appointed by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al- Abdullah of Jordan to serve on the Board of Trustees of the Royal Health Awareness Society (RHAS), he also serves on the Board of Directors.
