Finance Committee | |
Purpose | To provide financial analysis, advice and oversight for the organization budget. |
Responsibilities | » Oversee budget preparation and financial planning. » Monitor of internal controls and accountability policies. » Ensure accurate tracking, monitoring, accountability for funds. » Ensure adequate financial controls. » Approve financial statements. |
Members | (3) Members: chairman of the board, vice chair and treasurer. |

Membership Committee | |
Purpose | To provide financial analysis, advice and oversight for the organization budget. |
Responsibilities | » Actively promotes, recruits and retains members through direct contact with prospects and current members; » Contact lapsed members and prospective members as assigned each month; » Develop internationally focused membership services to create and support our members in identifying or pursuing trade and investment opportunities in the U.S., Jordan, or MENA region. » Support, approve and monitor the membership department recruitment and retention strategy and action plan; » Build and leverage strategic relationships with associations; » Provides input and feedback regarding membership needs, programs and policies. |

Planning Committee | |
Purpose | To support membership growth by actively recruiting, retaining, and engaging members. |
Responsibilities | » Lead, support & approve Strategic Plans developed by the executive team. » Lead, support & approve Business Plans developed by the executive team. » Align plans with specific budgets. » Evaluate the progress and effectiveness of the strategic plan. » Monitor and Evaluate the implementation of programs and activities in accordance with the strategic plans. » Recommend changes to the plan where necessary or advisable. » Identify other opportunities. » Approve operational Standard Operating Procedures. » Receive and approve monthly technical reports. » Establish working groups or Ad-hoc committee for specific programs or events as necessary. » Coordinate with other committees on their work plan activities. |

Goods Export Support Committee | |
Purpose | To plan, oversee, coordinate and ensure the proper implementation of Goods Export Support programs of work and activities. |
Responsibilities | » Assist in planning and designing of Goods Export Support programs and activities. » Advise and support in the implementation of trade missions, trade shows, partner search missions. » Advise and assist in the implementation of specific trainings and capacity building programs. » Support in making the needed business linkages. » Provide advice to other members. » Review relevant publications and provide feedback. » In general, do all the necessary to ensure the success of the Goods Export Support programs. |

Sourcing from the U.S. Committee | |
Purpose | To link Jordanian buyers to U.S. manufactures or service providers. |
Responsibilities | » Support Jordanian traders/ commerce to enter into sourcing contracts with U.S. manufactures. » Support Jordanian companies in identifying U.S. services providers. » Support building consortiums. Joint ventures between Jordanian and U.S. companies. » Organize visitors’ programs and B2B activities. (two-way). |

Investment Committee | |
Purpose | To promote Jordan as an investment destination for U.S. companies. To provide investment facilitation support to Jordanian companies wishing to setup in the U.S. (This support is state specific). |
Responsibilities |
» Coordinate and align with JIC activities and national strategy, as well as ASEZA (i.e. BPI). » Carry out investment promotion activities and events or promotional campaigns. » Provide relevant information and develop promotional publications. |

Purpose | To ensure that businesses interests are met in policy and legislation development and modernization. |
Responsibilities | » Conduct research, analysis and surveys etc. » Hold events, focus groups and workshops. » Lobby and work closely with relevant Government bodies. » Work with the economic development partners. » Carry out relevant publications. |
