Webinar Session on Fundraising in the Age of Coronavirus – Silicon Valley Matchmaking Program

The spread of COVID-19 led many companies, especially SMEs and startups to face enormous uncertainty and financial hardships. According to surveys results conducted by international companies, a large percentage of startups’ fundraising timeline was slowed for most founders, mostly for seed and Series A companies.

AmCham-Jordan in partnership with TechWadi organized the fifth webinar session in series entitled “Fundraising in the Age of Coronavirus,” by the veteran entrepreneur, operator and venture capitalist, Sharif El Badawi, Managing Partner at 500 Startups MENA. In this session, Sharif shed light on why investors might be sharing mixed information, and how startup founders can navigate this environment when they’re looking to raise capital, adding to that, Sharif will share his insights on how to understand your own chances to raise and how to run a successful fundraising process.
