Informative Session: 2023 SelectUSA Investment Summit

In collaboration with the Commercial Section at the U.S. Embassy in Amman, an informative session about SelectUSA Investment Summit 2022 took place at the AmCham-Jordan Offices, with the aim of informing the members of the summit’s role and services.

Ms. Janee Pierre-Louis, Senior Commercial Officer, along with Ms. Lubna Abdelhadi, U.S. Commercial Specialist, at the U.S. Embassy in Jordan, discussed the summit’s business and networking opportunities, as well as the services provided for investors including platform for connections, as well as information and counseling sessions with experienced mentors to help develop their market entry strategy and tailor their product for success in the U.S. market.

Stating main reasons on why to invest in the U.S, as well as the huge number of international markets that annually join economic developers to help facilitate business investment.

In addition to the programs offered by SelectUSA, such as the SelectUSA Tech program and the Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT), to gain access to an exclusive network platform.

During the session, Ms. Raghad Alkhojah, AmCham-Jordan’s CEO, stated the vital role SelectUSA plays in attracting and facilitating business investment and job creation in the United States. Raising awareness about a wide range of investment opportunities and enabling direct connections between foreign investors and U.S. economic development organizations (EDOs).
