ed by the Jordanian Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply H.E Yarub Qudah, a high level Jordanian Trade Delegation headed to the United States for a Jordan-US Trade Mission to run from the 30th of July through to the 7th of August.

In cooperation with the Jordanian Ministry of Industry Trade and Supply in addition to the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), the Aqaba Development Corp. (ADC) and Members of the National TIJARA Coalition, the Mission is supported by the USAID Jordan Competitiveness Program. The key objective of the Mission is to promote the growth and diversification of Jordanian exports to the US in a number of selected manufacturing sectors that are ready and eligible for export to the US in line with the Jordan US Free Trade Agreement (JUSFTA) Rules of Origin clauses. A Delegation of 27 Jordanian manufacturers from key National sectors including food and chemicals as well as select industries namely Dead Sea products, plastics and packaging join the Trade Mission to gain better understanding of the US market, expand their networks of agents and distributers and explore concrete business opportunities with counterparts from the US market.
The Missions Visits
Chicago and Detroit which host substantial populations of Arab Americans; conducting site visits to a number of prominent US agents and distributers, and taking part in business matchmaking sessions with American businessmen in each location. Half day forums will be held in each State on the JUSFTA, the Jordanian economy and investment opportunities in the Kingdom. The Trade Delegation will also visit the state of Washington DC where Government to Government meetings will be held in addition to business meetings and an Investment Forum.
