B2B meetings with US delegation

Since its founding in 1999, The American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan (AmCham-Jordan), has continuously joined forces with key public and private entities, playing a vital role in strengthening and promoting bilateral trade and investment between the US and Jordan, an effort which has culminated in over $2.86 Billion worth of goods traded between the two countries in 2015.


Towards further enhanced US Jordanian trade relations, AmCham Jordan is proud to have hosted a visiting delegation of American companies looking to establish business ties with Jordanian counterparts. The Delegation, which was headed by representatives from the US Department of State, Mr. Ziad Haider, US Department of State Special Representative for Commercial and Business Affairs, and Mr. Richard Albright Deputy Assistant Secretary and Coordinator for Foreign Assistance held one on one business meetings with relevant AmCham Jordan Members.

Visiting US companies included   Coca Cola, Microsoft, PepsiCo, MasterCard, Douglass-Winthrop Advisors (a New York City based SEC registered investment advisor managing over $1.7 billion in private equity), Hill International (a professional services firm providing program management, project management, construction management, construction claims and other consulting services primarily to construction, transportation, environmental, energy and industrial markets), MENA Consultants (a professional trade association designed to increase commerce between the US and the Middle East by supporting consultants and related professionals focused on business development in the region), and APR Energy (a global leader in the market for rapidly deployable, large-scale power, and provider of fast-track mobile turbine power).
